This clinic will be teaching players the following:

• How to deliver and receive body checks safely. Focusing on proper posture, balance, and angling to reduce injury risk.

• Techniques for separating an opponent from the puck. Proper timing, shoulder positioning, and using the boards effectively.

• Reading the play to anticipate contact. Helping players recognize when and where checks are appropriate within game flow.

• Maintaining control and discipline. Emphasizing legal checking, respect for opponents, and avoiding penalties.
