This clinic will be teaching players the following:
How to deliver and receive body checks safely. Focusing on proper posture, balance, and angling to reduce injury risk.
Techniques for separating an opponent from the puck. Proper timing, shoulder positioning, and using the boards effectively.
Reading the play to anticipate contact. Helping players recognize when and where checks are appropriate within game flow.
Maintaining control and discipline. Emphasizing legal checking, respect for opponents, and avoiding penalties.
